About Us

Church Mission: Reach the lost, build the body, encourage and strengthen the saints, bring unity through submission and truth, and remember that JESUS is the heart of the matter!

"Traditional" Service Times:
Sunday Morning 10:00-Noontime

Sunday Evening 5:00-7:00

Wednesday Evening 7:00-9:00

Our "traditional" services consist of focused group prayer, a time of Pentecostal praise and worship, an opportunity to give financially, an Apostolic sermon from the Pastor or often another minister chosen by the Pastor, a time of personal prayer and response to the sermon, and finally a short time of fellowship with friends and family/brothers and sisters in Christ. Everyone is welcome and all are encouraged to attend! Please note that service end times are approximate and may run longer or shorter.

Personal Bible Study:

We believe that the Bible is an instruction manual for a fulfilling life and THE road map to Heaven!

2 Peter 1:21 says "Holy men of old spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" and 2 Timothy 3:16 says "All Scripture was given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for corrections, for instruction in righteousness:".

Pastor Heath, and leadership of the church, offer a free Bible study program called "Search for Truth" which can be taught in your own home around the kitchen table or anywhere you feel comfortable.

Children's Sunday School Program:

During the sermon on Sunday mornings, all children are encouraged to attend our Sunday School program. The teachers provides children with fun lesson about Bible basics and stories, arts and crafts, and time for praise and worship. We provide separate classrooms for Nursery and Toddler ages as well as another for the older teens.

Friday Night Youth Group
On Friday evenings from 7:00-9:00, all youth from 12 to 20 are welcome to come to the Church where the youth leaders(s) have planned short lessons, games, fellowship, and other fun activities. Leaders supervising the youth do their best to keep the environment positive and focused while they encourage and demonstrate Biblical lessons and values, frequently plan fun outings (both locally and out of town), and put together various fundraisers to pay for their trips.

Food Pantry:
For more than two decades our food pantry has been helping to supplement the needs of local families by providing a wide variety of perishable food as well as an assortment of non-perishable goods such as hygiene and toiletries items, cleaning products, and cooking accessories. Open to all families of any income bracket every Wednesday during the hour of 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

Home School Support

If you currently home school your children or would like more information, please send us a message using the CONTACT US page. Sister Heath has many years of experience with this field and would be more than happy to assist your family.

Waldo County Salvation Army Service Unit:
Crossroads to Calvary Church is the local Salvation Army Service Unit for Waldo County. What that means is, we provide financial assistance to people who qualify by issuing them one-time vouchers for up to $100.00 for just about anything that a family might be in need of (heating fuel, rent, electricity, etc). As Christmas draws near, please keep your eye out for the Salvation Army's famous red kettles and for our cheerful volunteers; and if possible please consider giving a cash donation! All funds collected in the kettles are used to help local families right here in Waldo county.

Toys for Tots:

For three years now and looking forward to a fourth, Crossroads to Calvary has been Waldo County's Toys-For-Tots distribution center. Sister Heath, with the help of a small army of volunteers (both churchgoers and not), have been responsible for collecting and distributing thousands of gifts to hundreds of local families! As Christmas draws near, please keep your eye out at local vendors for the unmistakable toys-for-tots boxes; and if possible, please consider making a contribution to bless a child in need.

What we believe

image12

The Bible teaches us that all people have sinned and were born into sin nature since Adam and Eve's decision to disobey God. Understanding this and also that we are separated from God because of it, we are persuaded that we are reconciled to God when we repent of our sin and sin nature, are baptized into the name of Jesus Christ for the "washing away" (as the Bible says)of that sin, are filled with the Holy Ghost as Apostle Peter says in Acts 2, and develop spiritual fruit while living a Holy life.
